Membership & Constitution

Full membership (including voting rights) is open to all persons who support the objects and purpose of the Foundation, agree to be bound by the rules of the Foundation for the time being in force, pay the annual subscription (currently $50 per annum) and provide contact name and details. The Podmore Foundation is incorporated in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and its Constitution was framed in accordance with the ACT legislative guidelines.   A full copy of the Constitution may be obtained from the Secretary at secretary@podmorefoundation.org.au

Applications can be made online using the Membership Application completable form and paying the annual subscription by Direct Deposit.  If preferred, they can be by surface mail using the postal form and enclosing a cheque.

In all instances, the Secretary will ensure the applications are submitted to the Board for approval and if approved, the applicant's name will be entered on the Foundation register.   The Treasurer will issue a receipt to the postal address supplied.   Please note that the annual subscription is not tax deductible.

Donations may be made at any time to support approved projects. If donors have no preference as to what project they wish to support, all donations made to the Podmore Foundation - Ancillary Fund will be allocated based on need to fund existing and/or future projects approved by the Board and within the terms of the Foundation's Constitution.  The Podmore Foundation - Ancillary Fund has been designated as a Deductible Gift Recipient and has Income Tax Exempt status granted by the Australian Tax Office. Donations to this fund are therefore tax deductible.
